If you’re “fiscally conservative” then you’re actively voting for candidates and supporting legislation that contributes to the systematic oppression of poor people, minorities, women, and immigrants. I’m sorry, but supporting equal marriage rights alone does NOT make you “socially liberal.”

YES

There are also a lot of people who are fiscally conservative and socially liberal who vote for Democrats.  I’m a pretty liberal person (though fiscally moderate), and I am a very partisan Democrat…but I’m just saying, you’re painting EVERYONE with a broad brush.  It goes both ways.

That said, people who vote for tax rates as opposed to more pressing issues aren’t actually qualified voters in my opinion.  (Though I believe everyone has the right to vote.  Just that some people vote in more valid ways than others.)
